Wrenchman: I ran into this before and someone said "no problem", but wanted to run it by you. When I put a volt meter on the battery, it reads about 12.85 volts. When I turn on the switch and check the lead coming to the coil, the voltage is about 7.64 volts. What drops the voltage going to the coil? Or, is this THE problem symptom?. Thanks.
