Don't know about the manifold. I had some leakage from the head gasket on my C. Folks on this forum said the correct torque for the head bolts was 65 ft-lbs. I asked the IH dealer and he said 80 ft-lbs. Don't know which is correct, but I tried 65 ft-lbs first. The bolts all moved at around 40-50 ft-lbs, so they were not tight enough. However, the leak did not stop until I went to the 80 ft-lbs.
