You've got the "real mechanics" that INSIST on a full teardown, trip to the machine shop, and all new internal parts every time you crack the drain plug on the oil pan.
As if this is some valuable tractor. It's an $1100 tractor running and driving, and an $1100 tractor running and driving with a $5000 engine job.
So it smokes. Let it smoke. What's it going to hurt? Hard to hide a smoking engine. Let the next guy take the hit on the overhaul if he wants.
