The lightbar toolboxes are neat, a little "spendy" though. In the "H and M years" we always had a toolbox mounted on the PTO shield and they always worked out fine for us. The boxes were about 6 x 6 x 18 and held a lot. We usually had a hole drilled about 5 inches up on the right end for the grease gun fitting to stick out of and a oilcan holder mounted there too. A lot of pull type tools we used in those days took a lot of lubing up so having the grease gun and oilcan handy was a plus. After a couple three years it was interesting what you could find in that toolbox-sometimes just what you needed-somestimes not.
