I had a hard time removing old CR seal ,also . Wise to order a gasket . Order seals for the belt pulley . Dont want to sugar coat this ,but looking at it the rust around that outside diameter , 3 to five days depending on your tools .do you have a torch, do you have arbor press , three jaw puller , you might need another handy person can be very awkward to handle with pto shaft. Replace a broken gear on my super c the gear would not come off .used a lot of heat. I had another one came off very easy , cant say. What will happen. Not kidding can come right off or it could be days ,what .dont get angry ,walk away from it and come back after you cool off . Hard to say about yours in my opinion from my experience with tractors from northeast Ohio ,expect a tussle .
