the only auto engine i have seen has been in the farmall F-20 and f-30 they have the paniterys on the rear drives ,they used to pull them in tractor pulls using the 283 327 and some even had the 348 cu. in.and they seemed to stand up very good . you can insall them very easy for they have a ujoint in front of the trans. sone even put a auto trans in front of the one in the tractor , which gave them a lot of speed ranges good luck with your tractor
