I am in the process of converting my L59 to a two-belt system. I want to go to the two belts to simplify the installation/removal process as my 140 is my only tractor and is used for everything. And as a secondary reason, the factory supplied belt has the deck to close to the rear tires for my comfort. Wondering if anyone has attempted this before? What kind of problems have you ran into? What works? What didn't? Planning on running one belt on the deck with a tensioning device and another from PTO to center spindle. Will place factory adjustment pulleys in "ideal" location and fabricate an adjuster to tension the "PTO to Deck" belt between PTO pulley and factory adjusters.
