Thanks for the update - you gotta be happy with the results!! Funny you should mention that oil slinger! I had a similar experience with mine - discovered the slinger sitting all by itself in a parts pail moments after I tightened the last capscrew in the gear cover. Had to open it all up again to install the slinger, same as you. ...Bob M
