No sweat Big Fred! That little bit of trivial knowledge cost me quite a lot of embarassment. In my neck of the woods, BN's are common B's are around, but, a lot less common. Some years ago, when I bought my B, I thought I was buying a BN, the guy who sold it to me thought he sold me a BN. It said BN on the hood. My grandfather had a BN when I was a kid and I thought I had one too. When I went to find parts to restore it they said I had a B. No, I said, it's a BN. Not so, they said, it's a B. So, I asked, what's the diference? Nobody I knew was quite sure so I bought some books. Then I bought some more books (Guy Fay, Bermuda Ken & others must be proud). They were right! I own a B! I take it to shows and people will look at it and say "that's like a BN isn't it?". So I show them the differences. It has turned into a bit of an amusement for me. It's kind of surprising how many hard core IH folks can recite minute details of an H or M and don't know the difference between a B and BN. I don't tease them too much though, after all, I am the one who bought one thinking it was the other.

If i said that this was a little frustrating for him that would be "conservative" in fact the problem had reduce
