Super M Pistons

Looking for some opinions: I am going through a Super M engine and am trying to decide if I can re-use the 4 1/8" fire craters. I honed the cylinders to clean them up and remove the ridge. I re-inserted the pistons, and from the top, a standard 3 1/2" long .008 feeler guage will tightly fit 90 degrees from the piston pin. My I&T manual says a .003 1/2" wide guage with a 15# pull is the test, so it seems the pistons and sleeves are too worn to re-use. Do you all agree?
