Sure it's a 6 cyl.? The only IH start on gas, switch to diesel I know of is the 264 cubic-inch 4 cyl. Also, I don't think IH made 6 cylinder engines until the late 50's. You've got a power unit, model UD18A. Try to find a manual for more info. hope this helps
