I have several manuals for the IH UD-18A power unit. E-mail me if you wish. Like all older IH diesels that start on gas and run on diesel, the head is the critical component. Used parts for older IH diesels are available from F P Smith located near San Francisco, CA. I am not sure that Dresser or CIH dealers would have new parts for the older models. Some consumable parts are still available.

PS Try to keep it in service as they were very good units.
