My son bought the old H from my dad and restored to it to nearly new. It still has the old gas cap and so I went out to get the serial number off of it and the only thing that was stamped on the S/N plate was a -X6. THe -X6 was on the right had side of the plate. When my son was sand blasting the tractor, I made sure he took masking tape and covered the S/N plate to protect it. Do I have an Experimental tractor here. Dad said that this was a 1952. Which would make it near the end of the run on standard H's and about the start of the Super H series.
