As I understand it, the tractor has at least 2 problems...first, evidently it was dropped off a truck...not enough to break anything but ibent a few things....not sure what exactly. Second, it set up for 7-8 years. It had a blown head gasket that was replaced, but it still had low compression (150 psi). Now he says the injector pumps are locked up. I'm no diesel mechanic, so I really don't know how hard those things will be to fix. You give me an idea though...I know of a 782 with a running Kohler that needs some work. I can get each for $500 each and put the deck from the 882 on the 782 and either fix or part the 882...What do you guys think???
