Thanks for all the good info. You confirmed my fears about the copper pipe. I've located a hydraulics supplier who has 5/8 steel line rated at 3000 psi and steel compression fittings. I'm gonna try that. If that doesn't hold, I'll have new steel line sections welded in. BTW, the local Case dealer wants $470.00 for a replacement unit that includes the two steel lines and the rear connector block! They've gotta be kidding with that one.
