After reading all the good ideas, try this:
take out the spark plugs and squirt some Marvel
Mystery Oil into the combustion chamber.
Reinstall plugs and turn over a couple times.
I'd leave it sit overnite and start it up the next day.
That MMO is some good stuff. It will get rid of the stickiness in the rings.
