If you have live PTO (engine driven), you do not need an overrunning clutch. Live PTO was available on the 300U, but not all 300U's have it. However, if you do not have a live PTO you should have an overrunning clutch for bushhog operation. How can you tell? If you push in the engine clutch with the PTO engaged and it keeps on turning, you have live PTO. If it slows and stops, you don't have live PTO.
