When I run my 856 at high thottle (1800 rpm)for any length of time it cuts out. Thru experimenting I have found that if I remove the timing cover on the side of the injector pump (Roosa Master) or remove the fuel return line it will run fine. So I checked for a plugged return line it was clear. Then I checked the check valve in the return line and it seemmed dirty so I replaced it.That seemed to help at first but now it does it again. If Irun at part thottle it works OK.What is the need for the check valve? A 190 AC w/a similar Roosa Master doesn't have a check valve.Does anyone have any idea what to try next? Has anyone had this problem? Thanks Joe
