It could possibly be when you tightened the hub down that it was in a bind. When you tighten the bolts down it's best to do each 1 a little at a time and make sure that the hub is lined up straight on the axle. When you think about it we don't realize how much strain is on the hubs and axles and the trans and differential when we start pulling a heavy load I don't know how they stand what they do.
