The tranny and hyrdraulics are separate. On the right side just below the hydraulic levers, there is a dipstick for checking the hydraulic level(has a square head). On the left side of the tractor, just forward of the clutch pedal is a square plug for checking the tranny fluid. The tranny is full when oil starts to run out of that hole.
