Thanks Marvin. I got #4 pushed up about 4 inches before sunset yesterday. This afternoon I will disconnect it from the crank and then figure out how to push the 4 sleeves out the last 4 inches. $1,000 would appear to be about right. Engine wise I'll need pistons, sleeves, rings and rod bearings from Bermuda Ken. Head wise, I'll take it to NAPA and have them go through it. Probably seat/valve grinding/lapping, valve guides, springs and manifold studs. Also boiled fluxed and shaved. I'll get a manifold and muffler and gauges from Bermuda Ken along with a padded seat pan. Electrical wise, I'll get the generator converted to 12 volt (sorry Gene b) and the starter rebuilt. Eventually I'll get new main rims and tires from M.E. Miller. No rush on that. Belly pump looks like it will need the usual seal and gasket. While the belly pump is down, I'll check the clutch shaft and counter shaft seals on the transmission. If all goes well, it should be running in 60 days but I have no schedule set on this one.
