Terry - I've had good results using Red's procedure but with one change: With the motor idling, snap shift it up thru each gear in succession until it's in 4th, then open the throttle, depress the clutch and jump on the brakes. (Using a higher gear makes the brakes more effective in loading the engine) This works best on hard, level ground. Or if you have another tractor and a chain, try this: Remove the coil wire (so the motor won't accidentally start) and block the clutch pedal all the way down. Put the transmission in road gear, hook on the chain and pull the tractor forward 10 - 20 feet. Unhook, go around behind and pull the tractor back to where you started. Repeat as necessary - the torque reversals will generally cause the clutch disc to break free after several repetitions.
