You can cut plain old sheet metal and make your own straps.Just get some sheet metal from a body shop supply place or a body shop. Use fairly heavy gauge stuff. The ones on my F-12 also have "holes" part way puched in the straps to keep the welting in place. It looks like they used a center punch to make burrs on the underside of the straps. If you want I can measure my straps for size and also hole distance. I got my welting from Rice Equipment in Clarion PA. It is very close to the original stuff if not exact.
