If factory Power steering IS on the tractor You should be able to see the unit above the back of the engine way up inside the hood. Big cast iron unit about 15 inches long with the steering shaft running into & out of the unit. It's powered by the live hydraulic pump mounted between the timing gears and distributor on the right side of the engine as You sit on the seat. Power steering wasn't common on the 300's. Most 350's I've seen have it. If it has add-on P/S the separate pump "MAY" be installed on the upper left side of engine right behind the radiator. The steering unit would be in the same place, only smaller, about 9-10 inches long and 3-4 inches in dia.. It too may be plumbed into the live Hyd. system for power. Red's correct on the model years. '54 & '55 for sure. I'm not sure exactly when the 350 was introduced, in '55 or '56.
