Industrial A differences

I saw yellow industrial A today beside a regular A. It had the rotated, square front axle and some type of reinforcing brace between the steering gear box that sits on the front axle and the engine; it looks like some type of protective device in case you ran into a tree or ditch.
My question is: during what time period were these industrial models made? (I couldn't find a serial number.)
