The Super A is rated as a 1 bottom plow. The original plow for these tractors mounted on the reversed drawbar and then to the lift arm in the back of the tractor. Of course you could also use a pull type plow if you choose. Some will say a 2 bottom is too much. Although it really depends on your soil conditions. Also a disc plow will pull about a 1/4 - 1/2 easier than a moldboard plow. Give the 2 bottom a shot and see what happens. With the disc plow I would say you will probably not have enough traction unless you have some wheel weights or tire ballast. Of course soil plays a huge factor. Also a 4ft. tandem disc is what was marketed for the A's, but it should do allright with the 5ft. Let us know. Bill {Antique Acres}
