The water pump became standard sometime late in the Super A model run. Exactly when became standard from the factory is not clear to me and can usually be a point of no small disagreement among some folks. The C and Super A both used the C-113 and began to have overheating problems so IH offered the water pump as a solution. Water pumps were also retrofited to many A's and C's early in their life and today you can't tell by looking at them whether they are original or added later. I'm sure you are right that the water pump was standard on Super A1's, but, I think they were on some late Super A's too.
