Are you sure the problem is too much fuel? Fuel dripping out the weep hole is normal after very little choking if the tractor has a starting problem. Have you checked for spark? If that can be verified then I like to blast a little choke cleaner into the intake on the carb. If that doesn't work then you may be right in thinking it's getting too much fuel. 1/16 to 1/8 variance from spec shouldn't create your problem. Are you sure that your float doesn't have a hole in it? Check for a sloshing sound when you shake it. Good luck, I am interested to find out what the problem will be.
