Have you changed out the plug(s) since putting in the new ones? Sometimes a new plug will be defective. Also consider changing the wires again. Are you using copper wire core wires? Also check for play in the distributor shaft. If there is quite a bit of play adjust the points down to .018 and see if it makes a difference.//FB
