I have a 1944 H myself (#170309) and have wondered if "real" hydraulics could be made to work on it outside of using the transmission driven hydraulics it came with. I have been thinking on adding a 3 pt. hitch but have waited due to the stories I have heard about no down pressure and weak lifting ability on the H. I'll be interested to see what the forum experts have to tell you!
