I ran into a similar situation on a farmall A.If the mag on your H is a model H4 (and I believe it is)and you removed the cover that houses the points and happened to accidently turn the rotor, your tractor is out of time! I did this and pulled my hair out trying to figure out what I did until I finally read the manual.You need to time it and it will run just fine.It may take a couple trys.The impulse coupling needs to be just on the verge of tripping on TDC when you install the mag and it takes a little patience to get it right. Have fun!
