I'm restoring a '50 Super AV. I'm taking the tractor completely apart. I have pondered the engine rebuild and decided to do the work myself. My mechanical abilities are limited as well. I have the engine rebuild video on sale on this site. They do a very good job explaining the process, and I have Spencer Yost's book on rebuilding tractor engines. There are a lot of other areas I'm sure to have trouble with like timing and making sure I don't have "extra" parts left over. If you decide to do the work read the book, view the video and good luck!
