In a diesel I'd use something like Rotella or Delo 400. Since Your "New to the tractor" do You at least know if it was used regularly? recently restored/overhauled? Or sat in the fencerow for the last 10 yrs.? I'd run the tractor for about 10 hrs. & change it again unless You know the engine was run and serviced regularly. The Low Ash oil C/IH sells is for gas engines.
