I took the rear wheel off of my old rusty H today so I could replace the seal in the axle. It was a bit of a surprise, this H has one solid hub block with a key way in it and a keyway on the opposite side. My other H has two hub blocks per wheel, the surprise is that they are both the same model year 1944 and I was surprised by the different configuration. Does any one know why they would be different? It was not easy to get it slid off either. It seems to me that the wheel with the two hub blocks is a lot easier to work with.. just curious if any one knows. The seal and gasket were a piece of cake it's those darn hubs and loaded tires that made the job hard.
