Yes the carb was different. I also only see heads for gas engines. Come to think of it, I've only seen gas replacement carbs. Im wondering if the head is the same (as far as compression and combustion chamber design) and the only difference was the carb and manifold. I'd change the manifold and get a gas carb if it were mine. It would make everything much simpler.
