Better yet advice, why would you even want to mess with it. If you get yourself an old baler, you spend most of the time repairing it. By the time you get it fixed up with decent knotters, you'll have more in it than what its worth...I'm only doing 20 acres, and do about 40 ton. Sell most of it. It just isn't worth it. Talk to someone who does custom work, and leave the grief to him....or better yet, fence it in for pasture, rent it out and buy the hay you need.
