Well I have a 56' 400 desiel and a 57' 450 gas. They are about the same really. I use the 400 more becuase it is much better on fuel and with the desiel it has more low end lug than the 450. They are both nice machines and based on the M. The 460 has an H rear end in it basicly and it was not meant to hold up to the kind of power produced by the 460's engine. A lot of people I know won't touch a 460 with a 10' pole becuase of that. Personally I would go with a desiel and either the 400 or the 450.
