When I was a kid, my dad had some swampland bulldozed off to make pasture. In order to disk up the muck, he borrowed an extra set of tires, and dualed them up on a John Deere B. Neighbors were rolling in the aisles with laughter. Funny how no one is laughing at their sons and grandsons with their dual 4wds these days. What a difference half a century makes! My highschool aged son has acquired another JD B belonging to wife's late Uncle Paul. Is restoring it as a "senior project" - a requirement for graduation. Uncle Paul had lost his left arm in a corn picker accident as a teen ager. He made some modifications to make the tractor a little easier to operate. Son is planning to leave them intact out of respect for our beloved uncle. Critics can go jump in the lake!
