Not sure how you would tell for sure, but if the diesel is getting into the oil, I think the leaking seal would be at the front of the injection pump where the shaft that drives it off the front timing gear goes into the pump. Don't think there is any other way for diesel to get in the oil. The injection pump has it's own little sump that holds about a pint of oil. Diesel can leak into that too. That leak is usually from the fuel pump located on the back end of the injection pump. The diesel may leak from that seal into the injection pump and then into the oil. If it's doing that, the level in the injection pump sump will be high. You check that level with the little petcock on the side of the injection pump. It should be full up to the petcock with same oil that is in the engine. If you change the engine oil and you get better oil pressure, that is bound to be your problem. Also make sure the diesel return line from the pump back to the tank is open and working.
