My "H" universal is as you describe your "M" and I'm curious about the type universal you have. One I have is equipped with the spider having stamped steel bolted together with four bolts and nuts that contains the steel rod dowel. The other is an assembly comprised of a cast spider with the bearing cups and needles. Which would yours be?
