rings, rod bearing tolerances 46 H

Got my new Casi IH rings and am ready to install. I have standerd 3 3/8" bore with orig cast pistons. my question is the oil rings have a small octogon shaped peice that i beleive should go under the main oil ring, is this right? The set of directions included dont show this peice for the location. I just want to make sure i'm correct and there is a lot of knowledge on this sight. Also does anyone have the spec. for rod bearing tolerances? Thanks in advance
