Howdy JC: I wouldn't consider the f-20 narrow tread to be rare at all. Out here in Oregon country, most of the ones you find are narrow treads. I believe on the East Coast its probabably the opposite. I think a lot depends on your location, and what the farmers used to row crop in that area. (I know most farmers didn’t like the NT’s for belt work, as the pulley is about 2" from the bull gear carrier plate.) Just going from the top of my head, the narrow treads are about 10-12 inches shorter in the counter shaft housing length. Brad A (ore)
