Call Saginaw and ask them what their 2 cylinder 3 -point hitch is cabable of lifting with a specfic hydraulic pressure. Also the center of gravity of the large round bales from the pivot point of the hitch should be known when you talk to them along with the total weight of the bale. I have never lifted hay bales with a tractor but used my rough terrian forklift. A suggestion for adding front weights-built a frame which bolts onto the tractor frame and use suitcase weights. They are relatively cheap, easy to find and easy to remove when you do not need them.
