I just started the tractor and the rear pump that works the 3pt and rear remotes is working, but seems to be sucking air. Making airbound noise.
The front pump seems to not be pumping. Has a new clutch assy installed last spring with just 50 hours use so it is not the drive shaft.
I am leaning to either the main pick up tube that supplies oil through the oil filter, or the cross pick up supply tube that goes from the right to the left of the tractor supplying oil to the rear pump.
Either way that may starve the front pump from getting fluid. The front pump is sucking air and will need primed. The rear tube may be falling off, or a major leak from the tube that supplies the rear pump.
Does this sound correct? I will pull the 3pt top link plate and see what I can see. Hope it is a easy fix. Don't want to remove the cab if possible.
