Ok ,on the advice of Bob M Im posting this question that I asked him via email.I have a 41 M,with the generator from a 50 MD,12 volt,3 brush. The junker this came thing off of was pos. ground and was told that was correct so I wired everything up for that.On Bobs diagram for generator wiring, there are two lines which go into the fuse, one for the lights and one for the kill switch. When I wired it up per the diagram i only got 4-6 amps.If I disconnected the L wire from the regulator, shot up around 7-10.I set the brush to get that but wish it would go just a tad more.I then took the wire from the L terminal and hooked it the fuse and moved the ignition wire to the amp gauge.Teh gauge will still read the 7-10 amps.voltage puts out about 13.5-14 depending on rpms.Just tried the lights(I just got them hooked up only a few minutes ago)Turn them on and no change in the gauge, shouldnt there be at least some?OK,now does all of this sound "normal" to you guys?IS there any difference in the wiring that I may have overlooked?(Keep in mind that all wiring is new and was originall wire per Bobs diagram.)Thanks

I tried to use an easy out but it wasn't budging and I didn't want t
