49 CUB NEED SOME HELP

Tractor misses when revved up from idle, timing is set to click as mark on pulley passes the pointer. Tractor had set for years. Installed new points condenser wires rotor cap and plugs. Cleaned the tuel tank and carburetor. It ran for a couple days well although it smokes, but now it misses under load and when revved up. Please help. Thanks Jay
