It is my understanding that F-20's were manufactured for the entire year of 1938 and then production was slowed way down to a crawl in 1939. I don't believe if I remember right there were very many 39 manufactured. Not like in previous years by no means. These 39 F-20's were slow sellers at the dealership becuase customers were waiting out for the new series tractors to be released. Some of these 39 F-20's very well may have been slapped together from extra parts in 40 but they were presented to the customer as a new, unused 1939. They should still be referred to as 1939 models unless somebody has some true blue facts that proves otherwise. I just don't believe this joker that has this one for sell knows anything about a F-20 and is just trying to take advantage of somebody who is willing to buy. If the tires were in new condition and it really did run like a top I would expect to have this tractor bought for around the $700 range. I wouldn't go over $800. I am in the Kansas area.
