I just added a 3pt conversion to my 140. I changed the 5ft pull behind bush hog to a 3pt hitch. Now for the problem/question: Is a 5ft mower too big/heavy for the lift on my 140? When I first start the tractor, the lift picks the mower up without any hesitation or apparent strain, but when the fluid gets hot, the lift power goes from sluggish to none quick. Also there is considerable leakage from the lift afterwards, but after it cools down it works fine again for a short time. Do I need to rebuild the lift, and if I rebuild the lift, will it wear prematurely because of the mower.
