I would rather have a SMTA or 400/450 than a 460. I always thought they were too long and awkward, and the engine has no torque. Lose a few rpmin a hard pull and you have to shift, won't pullthrouygh like th older 4 cyl. engines would. Mechanically, they had the same basic trans. and rear end as the H/350 series had. Just my opinion.
