I am back with more info and I even have pictures.
The tractor in question is a MD that was sent to GM; the engine that was installed was a GM 2-71. A 142CI 2cycle, 2cylinder. the bell housing was proffesonly modified to install the starter. the belt pulley gear box was chopped to make room for the starter. I forgot the year that this took place. I have never sent pictures here, but I will try that next. Dennis
